Ok i have been trying to get the Apache connector to work using wsconfig.jar and have yet to do it. I was hoping that this link would help, but it wasn't quite detailed enough for me:
http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm/method=messages&threadid=787&forumid=14
Using the "Add Web Server Configuration" (using the wsconfig) i try and add the following path in the Configuration Directory:
/etc/httpd/
It tells me that "the web server must be restarted..." So i click "yes"
and i get one of the following messages:
"Could not save changes to file /private/etc/httpd/httpd.conf"
or
"/applications/jrun4/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun.so (No such file or directory)"
I have no idea why sometime i get 'could not make changes' and sometimes i get no such file.
i ran "httpd -V" in the terminal and here is my output in case this is helpful:
Server version: Apache/1.3.29 (Darwin)

-D SERVER_CONFIG_FILE="/etc/httpd/httpd.conf"
-D ACCESS_CONFIG_FILE="/etc/httpd/access.conf"

Any help in connecting Jrun to my Apace server would be great. I too am trying to get my CF pages on my powerbook down to something managable.
