opening for 2 JavaScript Developers located in Austin, TX. These are 3-6+ month contract positions and our client is looking to hire ASAP. Candidates can be from anywhere in the country as long as they can relocate on their own expense to Austin, TX.
The JavaScript Developer will be part of the product development team and will be responsible for developing compelling web and hybrid mobile applications for internal business owners, partner businesses, and customers. This developer will collaborate with other members of the product development team, quality assurance, and creative design to build industry leading web applications. Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining our customer facing, partner facing, and internal web and hybrid mobile applications Based on high-level business requirements, create dynamic websites and hybrid apps from design concept to implementation Complete CSS styling and layout of pages produced by development team while maintaining browser compatibility Develop JavaScript to interact with industry standard libraries for rich client interactions on the desktop, mobile web and mobile hybrid apps Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and input for the maintenance and enhancement of existing websites and development of new products and features Work with QA and Development teams to ensure compatibility and quality of websites Be proactive in a small, fast-paced team to work towards problem solutions while adapting to existing processes, practices, and tools Skills/Education/Experience: Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of experience in computer sciences 5+ years of web development experience in a fast-paced environment Strong skills in web design, including working knowledge of the following: HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Automated Testing, bug tracking, and source control tools Bonus Skills: Large front end frameworks (AngularJS, Ember), node.js, Apache Cordova Experience with mobile (iOS and Android), preferably hybrid applications Web user interface design skills and usability analysis Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume: Full Name: Degree/Major: Total Experience as JavaScript Developer: Total Experience with HTML5, CSS, etc: Total Experience with Mobile Applications running on iOS or Android: Do you have any experience working with large front end frameworks such as AngularJS, Ember, Node.JS, or Apache Cordova?
