  {OOC: okie dokie, works for me.}

The trail of tracks led down a path that was cut through the growth. It must
have taken quite some work to cut this path. It was fresh, just older than
the battle. Indiating that the path was cut prior to the battle, but not
before the base came was set up.

Following the path and tracks took Makkie and Katya a good distance from the
base camp, just over 120 meters. The trail opened up to a clearing about the
size of small shuttle bay. From sensor readings and the pattern of foot
prints, a pitch battle happened here. The beings that were trying to escape
into the forrest were caught by their persuers. The end results of that
battle were as yet unknown, but it appears as if some got away... More tracks
to follow.
