Steven took note of the scan results and pondered for a moment where the Ramesar, who apparently disliked technology, could have gotten the ships. While the others were talking, Commander Liridian took the oppertunity to scan the Ramesar ships. He put the scan results on a monitor that the others not in the call could see.Scans indicated a crew of roughly 70, and from a technology stand point, were quite advanced for people that shunned technology. They were definately warp capable, and they had some rather decient weapons capabilities. Estimating from the size of their reactors and warp core, that they could match the Protector in terms of speed, but would not quite be enough to take her out in a firefight. The pair of them could not either. However, there was something strange. There were sections of the ship that could not be scanned. There was some (3 per ship) very localized high energy shielding that prevented scans from penetrating. Could be weapons or extra power generation facilities... These areas were close to power distribution centers and to weapons areas.
The suspicion arose again that someone was helping the Ramesar much more than was apparent. However, there was no proof. And he wasn't really certain WHO could have been helping them aside from a hunch, and that wouldn't stand up in a court of law, let alone any other sort of hearing.
He made as many notes as possible about the scans and then turned to Maggie.
"About the scans... do you think Michael would want to know about it? If so, how soon do you think we should notify him of the findings?"
