[OOC: If parts of this post don't make any sense or sound a little bit like the fevered rantings of a sick person, I apologise.  I have been sick for the last 3 days.]

Steven waited until Admiral Bedru, Nash, Watson and the Protector's Captain returned to the conference table.

"Before I start the debrief, I need to inform you of what I found when I ran a scan of the Ramesar ships."

He put the scan results up on the screen (GM, is there a screen where this could  be put?).

Scans indicated a crew of roughly 70, and from a technology stand point, were
quite advanced for people that shunned technology.  They were definately warp
capable, and they had some rather decient weapons capabilities.  Estimating
from the size of their reactors and warp core, that they could match the
Protector in terms of speed, but would not quite be enough to take her out in
a firefight.  The pair of them could not either.

However, there was something strange.  There were sections of the ship that
could not be scanned.  There was some (3 per ship) very localized high energy
shielding that prevented scans from penetrating.  Could be weapons or extra
power generation facilities...  These areas were close to power distribution
centers and to weapons areas.

"My own theory is that the Ramesar are hiding something.  Their weapons technology is very advanced for a race that, according to Mr. Watson, does not like technology.  It could possibly be that another race is helping them, though I am at a loss as to who would be doing so.  Also, what are in those sections that we can't scan?  And would they be able to kick our butts with what is behind those shielded areas?"

[response?]

Liridian out.
