Bedru waited for the chit-chat to end before politely interrupting, "Minister, thank
you again for your time. Our parties do need to meet as soon as possible. We do have a
prepared facility aboard our ship that can offer
comfortable space."

"That is kind of you, Admiral Bedru, however it would be easier if you and your
diplomatic party were to come down to the planet surface. Things being what they are,
thur first meeting will be more than diplomatic.", the Minister said politely.
'more than diplomatic' was code to Watson that the meeting was to include more than
just the diplomats. The military was a given, but just who else. If she was was not
saying, which was the case here, that meant that others would be there. Others that
she would not, or could not, mention.
She continued without pause, "Perhaps a meeting on the planet surface in say, 20 of
your minutes?"
