>"That is kind of you, Admiral Bedru, however it would be easier if you
and >your diplomatic party were to come down to the planet surface. Things
being >what they are, the first meeting will be more than diplomatic.", the
Minister >said politely.

>'more than diplomatic' was code to Watson that the meeting was to include
more >than just the diplomats. The military was a given, but just who
else. If she >was was not saying, which was the case here, that meant that
others would be >there. Others that she would not, or could not, mention.

Watson raised an eyebrow...was....SHE...there? He started to sweat just a
test.

>She continued without pause, "Perhaps a meeting on the planet surface in
say, >20 of your minutes?"

"Excellent...we'll be there. I have a request I would like to make. I
would like to allow some shore leave for the crew of this ship. The journey
here was taxing due to some research projects we performed along the way and a
break would be good for them."
>
"Just how many do you wish to send down, and where do you want to send them?", she
asked a bit suspicious.
