Ok, according to the chart at:
http://www.phy.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html
Fifth octave B natural is approx. 987.77 HZ, or 13.33HZ lower than 1KHZ.
Sixth octave C natural comes in at 1046.50 HZ. So, it's closer to B
than it is C.
That's not really the point though. :)
