Oh well... Worth a suggestion I guess, I'm not familiar with that soudncard, and I've become reluctant to upgrade my own to anything more decent as this cheap little line6 thing I have for some reason works with everything I throw at it without latency problems, unlike some of the seemingly better cards I had previously...
Would it be something to do with the audio interface itself?: I don't know it, but does it have its own software interface?; Probably not accessible in the same way my E-mu 0404 interface wasn't, but I remember reading it had all kinds of things in the software that it came with to change how the audio signal was routed... good luck, this kind of thing is always a pain when you can't nail the problem down.
