hi roy:
if the clip start with no beat,
must I put my marking at the start of the clip at all, or the start of a
beat?
Thanks

it's more work ,but try using the "set beat at now" command to "teach"
Sonar how to match the project's tempo to the clip's tempo.
move the now time to where each bar shuld start in the audio clip , then
press ctrl+m , and make sore the bar/beat number markings are correct;
very reliable.
hope this helps
Roy.

Hi,
I have been trying and trying but this doesn't work and I am soon
thinking about giving this thing up.
I have set an aproximit tempo on my project that matches the audio file
and hen I have selected the positions from where I want to use the
audiosnap feature.
Then, I press shift+a to open up the audiosnap pallet.
I then press enter on project follows clip and the tempo of the project
changes to a very fast tempo and it is not even near by the tempo.
I then tried quantizing but the same thing.
So what am I doing wrong?

It's never enabled/disabled. You either use it or not. Kind of like
synths.

If I am not mistaken, audiosnap is enabled the minute you launch
audiosnap palette?

Hi Vic,
Yes, I know, but how do I know if Audiosnap is enabled or disabled?

Well, you should know because JSonar should say "Audiosnap dialog".
Then you use left and right arrow keys to navigate. Vic

Hi Vic,
And yes I know that, but then what to do?
You don't know if Audiosnap is turned on or off.

Simply highlight the passage you'd like to work with, then press
SHIFT+A or choose "AudioSnap Palette" from the View menu.

Hi Vic,
But, how to find out if audiosnap is enabled or disabled? If I
press enter to turn on audiosnap, JAWS doesn't say anything. Any
help please! Using the R1176 build of the scripts.

I don't know what you mean by "support" but JSonar supports
audiosnap. Explain, please?

Hi Vic and all,
Yes, this has already been brought up, but I just want an answer
to
this.
CT supports audiosnap and the question is why can't JSonar
support
that
feature?
I have been working at a project which I can't finish. It is with
a
song I have to remix and need to stretch the tempo of that song to
follow
my projects tempo so that I can add drums and a few other things to
it.
Please, reply to this.
Many thanks,
Christian
