Something probably happened but you did not notice it. Jsonar won't say for example "inserted" even though the event may be successfully inserted. You had to pay attention to what you have prior and after to see whether you have a duplicate event or not. To make it easier so that you won't have to press the bypass key with numpad-insert+#3, is to, if you are using a desktop keyboard is to differentiate between the extended insert and the numpad inset this way you won't need to bypass before using the extended insert since JAWS won't be using it thus no conflict. You do this by bringing up the JAWS configuration- numpad-insert+#6. You next pull down the "set options" menu. Third under "keyboard" make sure that extended insert is not used for JAWS and that differentiating between the two inserts is true by checking or unchecking the box appropriately. HTH Nicki D

I pressed insert plus number three and JAWS says enter key to pass through and I press insert again, but nothing happens. So if I want to copy an event I just place the cursor on that event and do the same right? Many thanks, Christian On 2010-08-29 at 20:09 Roy Shtupler wrote: >press the insert key on your keyboard (if used by Jaws , do a pass key >thru first <Insert+intermediate 3>). >if the event list is empty , a dialog will pop up asking you which >event to insert; choose note , and press enter. >if you're on an existing note , a new one will be inserted at the exact >position and pitch value as the previously existing one . >you may alter its pitch , position , etc by moving with the left/right >arrows between the event list columns , adjusting the values either by >pressing enter and inputing new ones; or using the Shift+Numpad +/- >keys for fine increment/decrement and the left/right bracket keys<[]> >for larger steps. >hope this helps >Roy. >www.soundclick.com/tzackeek >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Christian" <[email protected]> >To: <[email protected]> >Sent: Sunday, August 29, 2010 3:00 PM >Subject: [Jsonar] How to do this > > >> Hi all, >> If I want to insert a new event in the event view, how to do that >> with JSonar? >> For example, I want to insert a note. >> Also, if I have a note and I want to move it one beat, what is the >easiest >> way to do that? >> Many thanks, >> Christian >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Find JSonar and Sonar FAQs, articles, guides and downloads at jsonar.org. >> >> Jsonar mailing list >> [email protected] >> http://jsonar.org/mailman/listinfo/jsonar_jsonar.org > > >_______________________________________________ >Find JSonar and Sonar FAQs, articles, guides and downloads at jsonar.org. > >Jsonar mailing list >[email protected] >http://jsonar.org/mailman/listinfo/jsonar_jsonar.org _______________________________________________ Find JSonar and Sonar FAQs, articles, guides and downloads at jsonar.org.
