The only noise I get from mine is the annoying hum/hiss from the keyboard. Otherwise clear as a bell.

The profire 26 26\ is kind of a bust, I think most everyone is having more issues with w7 drivers, naturally, it's first gen stuff. I wanted it for protools access, but may be exchanging for a saphire, or maybe an rme model, don't know yet. Still working to resolve accessibility and functionallity issues.
