1. Go to options>audio
2. On the general tab, choose your prefered soundcard for playback and
recording timing master.
3. Go to the drivers tab and choose the ins/outs you want to use.
4. Press OK.
5. For safe measures, restart Sonar. This makes sure all changes are active.

It needs to be done in this order. You can't choose ins/outs for a card that
isn't active in Sonar 8.5 at least.

Subject: Re: [Jsonar] routing sonar to my soundcard

Hi,

Go to options menu, then audio, go to the drivers tab, and check the entrys
for the soundcard [s] you want to use.

Then, still in the options, audio devices, go to the general tab, and select
the playback timing master and recording timeing master, setting them to the
soundcard you want to use.

That should I think then have it running through the soundcard you've
selected.

HOpe that is waht you were after.

Mark Faben.
