Use a send to the bus. Then on the bus itself, autmate the volume, turning
it up when you want reverb, and turning it down when you don't. Use
automation snapshots to do this. Arm the volume controll for automation, set
the value you want at the part of the project you want, then take a
snapshot. Then move to the other part say where you want it to stop, make
the volume of the bus -inf, and set another snapshot etc.

Subject: [Jsonar] More on automation

Hi all,
OK, so I suppose I don't do everything right here but here is what I try to
do:
I have a project which I explained in another mesasge and i want to add some
effects to it in the later part of it and mute them later on and that could
be done wiht automation.
I first tried adding a bus with the Lexicon pantheon reverb and I set all
parameters, but I am not able to set an automation snapshot where I want it
to start and I don't want to place the effect on the audio track itself.
What am I doing wrong here?
Many thanks,
Christian
