Hello List, I have finally received my Alesis Master control a few days ago and is currently in the process of learning it. So far, I am quite happy with it. One thing I have to say though, the layout of the control surface itself is quite accessible. The buttons are organized in such a mannter that makes a lot of sense. Once you know one button you can easily figure out the buttons surrounding it. Alesis' product special also have videos on youtube explaining the layout of the Master Conttrol and he does a pretty good job explaining where most of the buttons are located. As for the rest of the buttons and functions, it just took a few minutes of a sighted person's help.
I do have a question regarding setting up a control surface to work with soft synths and effects so that I can control the effects with the faders and knobs. The master control came with build in preset that work with sonar which uses the Mackie Controler's protocol. However, this preset only work for mixing. I've read the Master Controler's manual, and even sonar's help section on ACT but still can't seem to get it to work. Please help. Thank you. Ratha
