Hit me up for some private tutoring, and I'll be glad to show you how.

Im trying to figure out how to use gated
effects (such as the Sonitus Gate or sonitus Compressor) with Sonar.
My understanding is that the gate FX, for
example, should be able to take a signal input
and control the output from the input signal level.
Here is specifically what Im trying to do:
1. I have two audio tracks One with
speech, and one with an audio song.
2. 2. I want to use a ducking effect on
the audio song track so that it is
automatically lowered in volume when the speech
track is speaking, and have the volume of the
audio song louder when there is no speech on the speech track.
Im thinking that an input to the gate has to be
the output of the speech track, but I cant
figure out how to implement this. Do I have to
use some kind of bus send or something?
Thanks for any advice.
