Are you in track view? Press alt v and scroll down with your errows until you hit track view. Also no shift, no control, just down errow should let you hear tracks. Also maximizing the window with alt space and the letter x might help. Incidentally, right errow moves you across a strip. A strip is like volume, pan, mute and other stuff.

If I press Ctrl-Alt-Shif-t I get the messeage: cannot find tracktab. I switched of the x-Ray and I think I also did everything which was written in the README. Any Idea what can be wrong here?
