It's hard to say what the hell is going on with certainty from so far away! Make sure that autopunch is off by pressing alt+shift+left bracket key. also make sure that your hardware is properly plugged in and routed for recording and recording feedback. if you have skype maybe we can discuss that live with you at your machine!
