Disable uac (user account controll), right click the sonar shortcut and
select "run as administrator" to launch it...

Subject: [Jsonar] issues with Sonar 8.53, win seven 64 bit, JSonar, and
hsc...

Hi everybody. I just finished installing everything on my new workstation
but am now encountering a few problems. Perhaps someone out there may have
a solution...

Here is my setup:

2008 eight core mac pro desktop with eight gigs of ram; multiple internal
hds.
latest version of bootcamp
windows seven ultimate sixty four bit service pack one jaws ten sixty four
bit, latest release sonar producer 8.53 sixty four bit hsc build 208 JSonar
8.51 no anti virus etc is installed.

After installing and updating sonar, the complete registration box comes up.
I've never had this happen before, but, although my serial number is
displayed, the registration code field is read only and says "not being run
as administrator". Anyone know why that's happening?
I can't paste in the reg code... I do have admin rights and the machine
only has one account in any case.

My second problem is that when I run the JSonar setup wizard, it says JSonar
control is active and all the hsc sets import successfully.
However, it keeps telling me that I need to run it again, even though I just
did.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled hsc and JSonar and I also reinstalled the
proper registry keys. Nothing helped.

Also, whenever you try to use an hsc set, I get the message that a jaws
dialogue box is already open.

Everything is configured as it should be including toolbar settings,
disabling xray etc, and before installing sonar etc I did check the screen
resolution to be sure it was set correctly.

I've also installed focusrite saffire firewire drivers and plug in package,
Ilok first gen, dimension pro 1.5 sixty four bit, superior drummer, ivory 2,
and the latest version of omnisphere, although I'm not sure if any of those
may be causing an issue...

If anybody has any recommendations, please let me know.

Thanks,

Cameron.
