this is what we have done with
JHTML and NetscapeFastrack with
ServletExec(servlet engine)
JSP was too infant when we started.
Our application uses JDBC to search
a 23 Giga bytes database(sybase)..
We get hit with about 40,000 request
a day with no problems..
