Hi Ed,

While at JavaOne this year I attended a number of sessions and BOF's
where they (JavaSoft & other vendors) spoke about a forthcoming Java 2
Enterprise Edition Application Programming Model.  As I understand it,
this was not a product or specification as such, but more a user guide
with suggested architectures for build systems that tie all the J2EE
features (EJB, JSP, Servlet, JNDI etc.) together.  This sounds like what
you (and me) are looking for.

I believe this was due in it's initial public form (draft/beta/early
access) in September some time ?  But, there were a lot of dates that
week, I could be thinking of something else ;-)

Perhaps someone from JavaSoft who is listening has a better idea where
this is at (you won't be held to it!)
