In brief...
JRun is now owned by Allaire. If its an IIS solution you need then you
cannot go to wrong with this choice. It comes in 3 flavours:
1. Free version. has its limitations
2. 5 JVM version
3. multi-JVM version
Encompasses servlets and JSP.

Steve Nygen mentioned the Apache web server which does have an NT version
you can use (although not as stable as the Unix version, unquote). Setup of
Apache is a little more complex but you get a great solution for free with
the newly released GNUJSP. A great Linux solution. You will get all the
information you need from here:

Another interesting option is the Orion application server. Promises to give
you 1.1 jsp support and from what I have read, its fast. Would like to hear
from more people who use this and what they think.

Excuse the lack of tips from us at JSP-Interest.com and a big thank you to
those that have visited for your kind words (and patients). We now have a
new Java guru on the team, so expect some tips soon. In fact, the next tip
is right on track with this emails subject as we'll be advising on how to
setup an Apache server on Linux with JSP support.
