Help on Session Management

Hi,   is there a way to execute some code associated to the "Session Init" and "Session End" events using JSP ? I'm thinking about something like GLOBAL.ASP in the ASP world, is it possible to use a GLOBAL.JSP or something like that?   Thanks, Paolo.
