You can put the variable in the session and access it in the
other jsp file .but i was just wondering if you can set the
attribute in t he request such as
request.setAttribute(name of attribute,"value of attribute")
and using a RequestDispatcher and forwarding the request
and response to it.The fact is the RequestDispather did not work for
me.It did not redirect to the page required .Is this
problem related to the servlet engine
