Anybody got any best practice ideas for how to report errors gracefully in custom tag classes? Problem is, very few of the methods throw exceptions, and I don't want to use an app. specific log class since that will tie me down too much (and I don't want to use the servlet log since I'm using tomcat and it isn't implemented yet!). At the moment I'm resorting to System.err which is rather dirty.
