How to know if request is sent by refreshing web pages.

Hi,   Is there anyway to know if a request is sent by refreshing web pages? If the request is sent by refreshing web pages, my JSP( and Bean) should ignore the request.   How do I do that??   Thanks in advance.   LEE.
