hi
iŽd like to ask, if there is a "standard" - pronounce:
non-server-dependant - way of starting an application-wide thread when
starting the server ?
my best thought is to include a jsp:useBean in every .jsp-page that
creates this thread if it does not exist in the application context.
i am not satisfied with this, because in case of a server restart, this
thread must be started even if none of the .jsp-pages are requested for
hours.
ideas ?
