In your experience, how well has JRun scaled? 1000 users, 2000
users, 3000?

Subject: Re: JSP1.0 & JRun
Hi,
We use it here. I would like to move away from it..but we are stuck.
I want
to move to a 100% Java written app server, like Orion, or WebLogic.
None the
less, IIS and JRUN work ok for now. They certainly dont handle the
loads
though.
Did you make sure you set up the
c:\<jrun-folder>\jsm-default\properties\jsm.properties file so that
the
classpath is set to your "classes" folder? Also, you have to map IIS
..jsp
files to use the jrun.dll connector. Make sure you go in to your web
site
project folder in the IIS Control program, right click, select
properties,
select HOME DIRECTORY. Then, at the bottom right, you should see a few
buttons. The one that says Configuration..click it. Look for the jsp
extension there, then make sure it is directed to your jrun.dll
connector.
If not, map it to that. Also map .shtml files to that, if you use
them.
If that doesn't help, feel free to ask more questions.
