That's because, your posting is sent to all the people subscribed to the
list. Of course this sent from you, so you are the sender. hence for those
addresses which are no longer valid, you get the undeliverable response and
for some u will also get "out of office" replies too.

That's my guess and I am pretty sure that's the reason
