Scalability, portability, reliability. Can't speak for ASP, as I've not
done it, but Allaire manages to make Cold Fusion very difficult to
distribute, and when they upgrade, it's the standard "What did they
break?" bug hunt. (To wit: with CF 4.5, CF_HTTP and CF_FTP both broke.)
