Hi everyone,
I've been asked to web-enable parts of an application, and I've been
researching the use of jsp and
servlets. What I've come up with is (please remember I'm a newbie, and if
any of this doesn't make
sense or is plain wrong, let me know) using jsp to create dynamic xml
within an xml document, and
applying an XSL stylesheet to generate HTML.
1. Can a jsp page be a valid XML document? Will the server recognize
the XML versions of the jsp
directives? The jsp spec indicates it won't.
2. I'd like to create a tag library, but I'm a little confused with
parts of the jsp.1.1 spec( primarily
with bodycontent), are there any code samples out there dealing
with user defined tags? I
haven't been able to find any.
Thanks,
Joe Milora
