hi all,
i am developing a JSP based application using the Model 2
architecture
i have problems at one point:
all of my JSPs requires to have dynamic content at load time...i mean, when
i access
the page, i should present a dynamic list of something that i read from
database....
suppose for example that i have to manage users for this operations:
add/modify/delete
each user has some profiles that can be associated to him, let's say 4-5
when i go to the addUser page, i want the page to be populated by the list
of all the profiles available..
so what can i do?
i have the link for going to the addUser, modifyUser, deleteUser page...
i repeat, but just for clarification..
here is what happens:
1st scenario
- i clik on 'addUser' link
- i go to a page that contains one input text field and the list(dynamic of
the profiles available) - here is the problem, how i populate the page?
- i add the user (no problem)
2 scenario
- click on 'modifyUser' link
- i have the list of all the users available
- i click on a user and i go to the JSP page which contains the name of the
user selected and the profiles associated with him
all the data is loaded from a DB...
i have to do so that the 2 scenarios above fit into the Model 2 architecture
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanx in advance for your reply
regards
marco
