It won't "destroy your hard drive" but it will delete all JPG's and
P3's.  - I have seen it happen today....

Not quite correct.  There is a virus you should be aware of, but the
description below blows its capabilities way out of proportion.

1) It will not destroy your hard drive.
2) You have to run the script.  Just opening the email will not activate it.
