I configured the JDBC Data Sources in the JRun and
tested the connection. The connection with the
database is successful. In the servlet, I have a
datasource object and I defined the JNDI Initial
Context object and tried to look up the datasource in
the intial context object.
But it says my datasource is not found..I know that
the path I was giving is wrong and I didn't understand
the path thats given in the JRun manual. My code is as
follows:
InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext(); DataSource
ds = (DataSource)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/jdbc/" +
dsName);
Where dsName value is the value I gave while
cofiguring Data source services in JRun 3.0.
My question is do I need to start any service like
JNDI service or JRun automatically starts that
service.
Please help!
