Subject: Cookie Issues

when I create cookies from whithin a servlet then forward to another jsp
page I
can read the cookies fine, but when I create the cookies in my servlet then
try
to forward to a page defining frames and have the jsp pages within the
frames
try to read the cookies they are gone. Why are the cookies gone?
