We have images that our application references but I don't want to put
these in the .war file. isn't the root of the .war file the applications
root and consequently you cannot access anything outside of the root
of a .war file?
Currently when we deploy without .war files all of these image references
are via virtual mappings which get translated into an absolute path so I
shouldn't need to be concerned about these existing outside of the root of
the .war file right? The idea is to not have to include these images in
the .war file.
