well Steven i'm also facing the same kind of problem. i also need to =
show 20 records at a time from a large amount of records around 50-60 =
thousand. i think, the first way as you mentioned seem the most =
optimized way of caching the records. but don't know how to implement it =
using JDBC2. it would be much better if u can send the piece of code.
