We generate nearly all of our HTML via JSPs, using middle tier/server side
code talking to EJBs. This works fine, but as far as JavaScript goes, it can
be problematic. Timing issues with dynamicly produced JavaScript have been a
bit of a problem for us, although we are using frames very heavily, and the
HTML/Javascript is doing too much management in truth.
My point is that it's possible to do this, but I would be careful - it can
lead to a lot of headaches!!!! Get your server side processes nailed down to
reduce the amount and complexity of the JavaScript.
