Guys,

I have been watching this mailing list ( and I am a member of other lists as
well ).

I see that there has been too much noise...

A lot of out-of-topic questions, incorrect subject heading or no heading at
all, changing the threads...
guess it's got to start somewhere...

I suggest that when someone elects to join the list, we send him a list of
all the rules that we would like
to maintain on this list, a list of other mailing lists ( java, sql,
whatever ), subscribing info ( i know that it
is already there, etc )

Now the least expected of a programmer should be to know what causes the
problem ( jsp or sql or whatever )

Also, there should be strict rules about flaming.

This might help as these days, most mails seem OT.

I have learnt a lot on this list and would really like to stay
subscribed....

Let's try....

Prem
