I am also having similar problem, what I need to do is convert a String(of over 4000 characters) to a Clob and insert the value in Oracle's Clob column. I can read the data from that column using resultset.getClob() method, but I can't insert/update that column. Has anybody did something like this before? I really appreciate your help.
