hi
u cd use a hidden field
initially when the paghe loads create a n empty hidden field
<input type=hidden name="abc" value="">

then put the value into this hidden field using the javascript function

<script langage="javascript">

    {
        user = windows.parent.login.usern.user.value;
          document.form.abc.value=user
