Hi,
I can only say to you what I have done to make tomcat to work:
I just set JAVA_HOME in tomcat.bat to c:\jdk1.3\ and then dbl-click on
startup.bat, and here it is tomcat working fine.
I didn't change nothing in autoexec.bat or startup.bat
Try in this way maybe you will success.
And if not, please tell me what error you get when you start
startup.bat.....

Hope this helps....
Zsolti.
