you have to put the code in a if or while block
Example :
for a single record
ResultSet rs = statement.executeQuery("select * from User where
Id=45");
if(rs.next())
{
name = rs.getString(2);
...........
}
Or
for multiple records
ResultSet rs = statement.executeQuery("select * from User where Id >
45");
while(rs.next())
{
name = rs.getString(2);
...........
}
