One major advantage is that Tomcat is that it is an open source product. You
have access to the code and the support of an active open source community.
If you are interested in the latest JSP 1.2 or Servlet 2.3 features you
could use Tomcat 4.0.x. I don't think there's a Jrun version available with
that support yet.

If you are using Jrun Advanced or Enterprise edition the it wouldn't be a
fair comparison since those version include many more features.
