Check out Xalan from the apache project at
http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/index.html
It's very easy to get running and enough examples are available.
While you are at it, check out Cocoon at
http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/index.html. This Java web application does
everything you can imagine to XML and XSL files, including xsl:fo!! All
this without coding 1 line of Java!!
It's very easy and extremely powerful. It's literally a drop and play
application.
