Yea. I had problems deploying with the newest version of xalan/xerces as well. Just copy the xalan.jar file that is in the XSL Taglib examples war file. It's looking for a XSLTInputSource class that is, for some reason, removed from the new version. (I cant find documentation for why it was removed).     On using XTags: did you have any problems deploying the examples war file?
