Certainly,

I use a custom error page which is simply a wrapper. The piece doesn't send
IM or anything - it simply places a generic error class in a JMS queue that
gets processed and builds trouble tickets.

Some flaws with this - if the web server isn't responding, the error page
doesn't work correctly either.
