syncronise all and any code that accesses the array, and make sure that your
blocks are "wide" enough.

E.G. this WON'T work because the "syncronized" bock should be out-side of
the loop.

{
        for (i = 0 ; i< VERY_BIG_NUMBER ; i++)
        {
                syncronized (bigArray)
                {
                        bigArray[i] = i;
                }
        }
}
