And we must add the mother pattern book: Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software This is a real good book with lucid explanation and gives nice insight into the patterns. For struts apart from the books directly working on its source rather than the built jars would be far more helpful. Once we see the source in action it settles better in memory :-)
