Good Mornng Lotfi-
This is a topic I am somewhat familiar with as our shop is primarily a CF shop
(versions 5-7) but is now incorporating features and functions
from DB API Java classes..yes CF includes these using CFSET tag
The problem with using classic jsp in a CF environment is that there are
libraries and descriptors (tlds) that need to be built and identified into the
deployed WAR
The good news is that CF does indeed deploy a WAR under Jboss AppServer
The documentation for tweaking the deployed web.xml to include the necessary
descriptors and classes for JSP is somewhat sparse
(My guess is this has been the primary domain for Macromedia folk...sorry the
Adobe engineers)
I would like to hear more about this as I am primarily a Tomcat guy and would
like to bring features and functions of jsp more into CF domain space
Thanks,
